Position Description:

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors finalapproval of products through the complete production cycle. Works fromengineering plans and production specifications to establish productionschedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates productionplans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.

Job duties include:

Develops and maintains detailed schedules, productionplans and material requirements lists in accordance with the ProductionSchedule, for products, proposal efforts and/or production processes.

Coordinates Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing,Material Control, Quality and other departments to achieve optimum utilizationof facilities in meeting production schedules.

Provides input to management regarding problems such asscheduling problems, material shortages, design changes and backlogs.

Plans and coordinates purchasing, manufacturing andshipping of all non-system level standard products.

Develop Production Schedule incompany system to prepare requirements for purchased and manufactured parts.

Ensure to maintain desired inventory levels.

Develop balance betweenexisting and future client demand needs with manufacturing and vendors toensure completion of client requirements.

Review requests of new salesorder and provide practical promise dates to client service prior to promisedorders.

Supervise schedule formanufacturing departments and focused factories along with work cells.

Evaluate data inclusive ofenterprise requirements for planning information.

Prepare reports required tofacilitate and suggest actions to assure optimal execution of supply chain.

Supervise company stability,oversee reasons to schedule changes and ensure root causes for volatility ofschedule being resolved.

Monitor continuously allproblem inventory, take advantage of conversion opportunities if any and recommendsolutions for scrapping and potential.

Head responsibility to achieveand sustain adherence to company rules associated with Master Scheduling.

Assist company plus constantprocess improvements and facilitate problem-solving teams.

Evaluate schedule for companycommensurate to Earned Value Management practices as well as company policiesapplications.

Select procedure and techniquesto develop best-practice schedules for projects.

Identify and recommend feasiblesolutions to plan operational issues.

Conduct organizationmiscellaneous job-related duties assisting BMEWS/PP product line.

Review any material and/orcapacity changes that are required to meet any inside lead-time change to theMPS as being requested by Sales or bookings. Make recommendation for earliest achievable date to increase theschedule for a specific Machine(s).

Review/Analyze/Publishtop-level capacity reviews by working with the Production Manager for a windowof 3 months. These capacity reviews should be published monthly after the MPSchanges for the month have been implemented.

Must formally communicateany/all MPS changes and/or Production Schedule changes to the appropriate Planner,Production Manager, Director Materials and VP of Manufacturing.

Must develop/publish andmaintain monthly, quarterly and yearly reports that display progress againstthe Production Schedule Plan vs. Actual, on time, Actual LT and Volumes. Monthlymetrics are required to be published and responded to accordingly.

Daily maintenance of theProduction Schedules with 95 % or better accuracy.

Position Requirements:

2-4 Year business or technical degree or 5 yrs. min.

experience working in a MRP environment.

Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and other

Business Information Systems (Oracle R12 Experience a plus.)

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

APEX certification in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
